The NSWRAP are pleased to advise, the Myall Stages Rally based in Bulahdelah will now be a round of the NSW Rally Championship. The rally will be a pacenoted event with Recce on Saturday 9 August, a buffet dinner to be organised on Saturday night and the rally conducted on Sunday 10 August. Two meal tickets will be included in the entry fee and other meal tickets can be purchased for $25.00. The inclusion of this event in the NSW Rally Championship ensures that the championship will consist of 6 rounds in 2008. We are also pleased to confirm that the Coffs Harbour State Round (originally scheduled for 2 August) will now be run in conjunction with the recently announced Coffs NSW ARC Event scheduled for the weekend of 15/16 November. The NSWRAP is currently working with CHDSCC to ensure that NSW Competition Conditions can be met for this NSW State Round run in conjunction with the ARC Round. Coffs Harbour certainly should be a great place to be in November!! So the NSW Rally Championship is now back to 6 rounds (best 5 to count) and these are: 3 May - Rally of Lithgow 8 June - Rally of Hastings 9/10 August - Myall Stages 6 September - Bay Stages 25 October - National Capital Rally 15/16 November - Coffs And not to forget Clubman…the Pacific Rally Club Clubman event at Port Macquarie has now been rescheduled from 21 June to 5 July. This change takes into consideration events in the Port Macquarie area, as well as the NSW Clubman calendar. NSW Clubman Calendar: 1 March - Narooma (MCC) 12 April - Black Springs (NDDC) 5 July - Port Macquarie (PRC) 26 July - Canberra (LCCC) 23 August - Taree (CNCSCC) 27/28 September - Canberra (BMSC 2 day event) |

Following a series of events and issues on the Central and North Coast of NSW, there are some changes to the NSW Rally Calendar on the horizon. Originally planned for the 15th of March, Rally of the Hastings is proposed to move to 5th July 2008. Also proposed is the cancellation of the Kempsey Rally, and the movement of the Rally of the Manning Valley to 23rd of August, and it will inherit the NSW Clubman status previously afforded to Kempsey. An updated calendar will be provided once approval has been provided from CAMS NSW State Executive. |
